Scientific Symposium Brings Top Melanoma Minds Together

The Scott Kirkbride Melanoma Research Centre will this November bring together four of the finest minds in melanoma research for a one-day scientific symposium.

Following on from the 7th International Melanoma Research Congress in Sydney, Professor John Thompson, the Executive Director of the Melanoma Institute Australia - one of the world's largest melanoma treatment and research centres - will head to Perth for the event.

Joining him to present at the 'Advances in Melanoma' symposium are Professor Meenhard Herlyn, Associate Director for Translational Research from the Wistar Institute Cancer Center in the US and Professor Nick Hayward from the Queensland Institute of Medical Research.

The event takes place on Tuesday November 9 from 9am to 5pm at The University Club of WA.
